how do I remove registered domain? I registered the wrong domain. Please help remove it. Domain is sgrider.com

If that button doesn’t allow you to delete this Netlify DNS configuration, please let us know. Additional questions are also always welcome.

thank you very much. It works.
I do not remember if I did that step, but I deleted the Repo, so I could be able to use the domain in a new updated version of my website on a new Repo.
Now that I am trying to use the demoin in this new repo it says:
You must own saludkapital.com to complete all the steps.
A DNS zone for this domain already exists on NS1, the DNS provider backing Netlify DNS
Please contact NS1 with the domain name for support.
Verify again
I have already tried to reach NS1 but its support is being deprecated and moved to IBM.
Considering that I already deleted the original website to have access to the DNS, will this issue be solved by itself with time?

If you remove the domains (www and saludkapital.com) from here:
You should then be able to add the domain to a new Netlify site.

- The domain was bought through GoDaddy, not through name.com
- The domain has only been used with Netlify.
At least, could you please share me the contact information of the NS1, the information I get when I try to contact them, is the following:
Deleting a repo has no impact on a domain and vice versa.
Then the NS1 zone exists because you have added it to Netlify.
Are you using this domain on a new/different account?
This domain is already connected to a Netlify site. This means you have not removed it from the site (assuming this is not the site you want it connected to) in order to free it up.
Dear Luke,
One of my Netlify account opened up to 2weeks ago was flagged (suspended) just yesterday (5/2/2024). While I’m still trying to resolve with Netlify support, I have a newly added domain on Netlify DNS.
Since I am not able to access my account during this time and use the “Delete DNS zone” button perhaps; how do I deal with it?
I have a deadline to meet up with a project, so I need to delete the domain from Netlify so that I can use the domain with another account.
I will also remove the externally configured DNS records I have made for the domain while adding it to the Netlify account.

The domain name is “aftercard.site”, I need it removed from Netlify DNS as soon as possible to meet end demands of a project - since I’m not able to access the “Delete DNS Zone” on my flagged account at the moment.

Hi, @Narint. This is a domain registered via Netlify. For this reason, we will need to transfer this domain to your direct control at the registrar (which is Name.com not Netlify) in order to be able to delete it and use it elsewhere.
I have created a support ticket for that process. Please look for an email about support ticket # 255018 and reply there to complete this domain transfer process. However, if you do not see that email, please reply here to let us know.
