Hello SoCal-ers

Please join us in starting a usergroup in SoCal that is centered
around one or more of the following functional or funcionally based
languages.

We also look for a company sponsor for snacks and refreshments if
possible. Volunteers are needed.

There are a number of convenient avenues for meeting :

UCLA - too distant for people coming from the Orange county and Irvine
area, and parking is a problemUSC - parking is not always free, the
campus is fenced and no street parking is available
Cal-Tech - parking may be free in the evenings on weekends and
weekdays, a room may be available
PCC - parking on campus is an issue, perpendicular to Colorado
parking may be available all week
Monrovia Masonic Lodge - parking is generous and a room availability
may be arranged
Cal State LA - parking may be free on weekend and weekdays evenings,
room availability may not be an issue

Proposed day : Second Monday of each month 6-9pm

it amuses me that such small communities of Lisp users can have local
groups outside an international web. How many users go there? 3?
5? :p

well, at least you are allowing for more language fans, though I
wonder how long will the group remain without flames by siding lispers
against haskellers and such...

There seem to be a much higher concentration of lispers in the USA than
in Europe. You can judge it just watching the lisp job offers passing
by.

As I told the guy at the interview, yes I know CoBOL, Haskell, & C,
and no I don't lisp.

This CRACL is a fraudulent blog perhaps to propagate some business
with unique marketing tactic.

Beer is the sh*ttiest drug on earth - more dangerous, it is being
determined by the british government - than even heroin and crack
cocaine.

There is nothing common between the atmosphere at a liquid sh*t
dispensing outlet and the brain demanding lisp.

Watch this video and dont be a victim to deceptive social
manipulation :

next CRACL meeting Sunday, Feb. 7th 7pm

The next CRACL meeting will be Sunday, Feb. 7th @ 7pm.

The venue is Wurstküche in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles.

The best venue for beer this society has yet to know. The conversation
will be the burden of those attending.

Look for the tell-tale LISP programming manual on the table.

No, it's not. CRACL really is (or at least was) the LA Lisp user group.
I personally attended the last meeting, which was in February. There
were about a dozen people there.

Granted that meetings took place as stated on the blog and confirmed
by you.

Assist me with an estimate of the attendance,

the manner of presentation; did you have a blackboard or a projection
screen and a projector available ?

some topics of the talks given?

and the contact info of the organizer(s) ?

Why have the meetings ceased to take place ?
