I recently got a new laptop (Asus ROG G752) and upon installing arduino I realised it opens in a very small resolution. I tried to go and edit preferences.txt but it is not allowed. What should I do? Here is a screenshot of what it looks like.
Can you open File > Preferences? There is an option there, Interface scale.
What do you mean by "tried to go and edit preferences.txt but it is not allowed"? Did you close the Arduino IDE first?
