Issue

While I can't reproduce the behavior prior to the merging of #172 with pins, my CI started to fail at a CMake test compile for mingw targets last night around when the PR was merged. See: https://conda-forge.zulipchat.com/#narrow/channel/457337-general/topic/random.20cmake.20test.20failures.20all.20of.20a.20sudden/near/516788241 for attempts at isolation and debugging.

This will be fixed in GCC 14.3, which is scheduled for May 22nd. I'll try to build it soon after and then switch our default compilers to GCC 14 (and clang 19).

This appears to be a different, much simpler issue. or whatever reason, $PREFIX\Library\bin is no longer on the path, so when a program tries to call into libstdc++ (which provides this symbol), it can't find it. because its not on the path.

Nothing changed about the activation, but perhaps that would be helpful - conda-forge/ctng-compiler-activation-feedstock#153 is the corresponding PR for the activation side. I don't understand how the version mismatch might come into play here, but certainly doesn't seem impossible 🤷

How hard would it have been to copy out the right path, rather than providing a confusing screenshot (because it highlights the wrong thing)?

In any case, we're talking about C:\bld\bld\rattler-build_libplanc_<nr>\work\test\run\Library/mingw-w64/bin (second in your list, thanks for making me type that); though all the mingw paths in the PATH (for that env) have the same problem. It might be a rattler-build problem though, because further down, there's what looks correct paths, e.g.
E:\libplanc-feedstock\miniforge3\.pixi\envs\default\Library\mingw-w64\bin

run/library/mingw-w64/bin doesn't actually exist, but run/library/bin does (and is present, mangled.)

Additionally, the E: path isn't the one that has the installation, thats the C: path.
