Uploading file > 10 MB fails silently

Right now we have a cap on uploads at 10 MB. How we limit is an open discussion for the long-term, but for now we should provide an error for users when they try to upload a file > 10 MB.

Just adding a note that I do get a nice error in the chrome JavaScript console: "File is too big (18.28MiB). Max filesize: 10MiB."

FYI the error message I now get is full of some XML markup and also obscures the cancel button to get out of uploading and try a new file.

Can you send me the file that is throwing this error? I just tried it and got a friendly looking error.

Just looked into this, and it turns out that the maximum file limit for S3 uploads is 5MB unless you use multipart uploads, which is more intensive to configure. For now, I'm going to change the uploader limit in the editor to 5MB, and we can figure out if we even need bigger file uploads.
