Since other projects in the Spring portfolio have upgraded to Gradle 4.9 in the meantime, let's go beyond 4.8 as well... probably aiming straight for 4.10 for Spring Framework 5.0 RC3.

Upgraded to Gradle 4.10.1 for Spring Framework 5.1 GA now.
