Today’s Hits is home to the biggest songs in pop, hip-hop, R&B and more. Beloved actor Rupert Grint leads the playlist this week and by beloved actor Rupert Grint we do, of course, mean his doppelganger: the equally beloved singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran. There’s a new album from Sheeran on the horizon (Play lands 12 September), and “A Little More” is the most recent preview of what to expect from the multimillion-record-selling star on his eighth studio outing. Co-produced with Grammy-winning hitmakers Blake Slatkin and Cirkut, the track combines a classic, big-band-influenced beat with barbed lyrics dissecting Sheeran’s decision to extricate himself from a toxic friendship. As for Grint, the weird and wonderful visuals for “A Little More” see him reprise his role as the obsessed Sheeran fan from the 2011 “Lego House” video, with Sheeran’s face haunting him at every turn. This week also sees the heavily anticipated release of Luke Dean and Omar+’s viral smash, “Make Believe”, as well as “Man I Need”, the Motown-flavoured must-listen from Olivia Dean. Remember, our editors are constantly searching for new music and updating this playlist—so if you hear a song you like, add it to your library.
