In order to be accurately named, the app should be called "Apple TV+" since you can only access the subscription-based content and not purchased shows/movies through the app. That makes the app fundamentally useless, because nobody uses Apple TV+ even after they finally, after 5 years from its initial launch, decided to begrudgingly support it on the remaining 60% of the phones in this world. I just want to watch my old iTunes stuff on my phone.

After waiting years for an Android app, I was shocked to learn that the app does not have my purchased Apple TV shows and movies. This makes it fundamentally different than the Android TV app version which has had a version of this app with your purchased content for years. Extremely disappointed that I won't be able to access my library of media that I've already purchased and this is just a way to forced me into another subscription.

terrible app. I first couldn't get into the app because it said my password was incorrect even though it was correct. I went through the process of resetting my password and it wouldn't let me reuse my password, so I created a new one and tried logging in. it said the new one was not accurate either. somehow when I logged in via browser, the app started to work. however after going through all of these hoops, I still cannot access any of the movies I had purchased on my iTunes account.
