    Organisation Todt was the Nazi engineering group behind massive engineering projects like the Autobahn and the Atlantic Wall. Under Fritz Todt and later Albert Speer, it relied on forced labour from occupied territories, prisoners of war, and concentration camp inmates, many of whom suffered and died under brutal conditions. For this, we're joined by Charles Dick, author of 'Unknown Enemy: The Hidden Nazi Force That Built the Third Reich'. We explore the organisation's role in Nazi military strategy, and how Organisation Todt became both a builder of vast defences and a tool of oppression.
