Release Highlights

Aspose.Tasks for C++ 24.11 (Linux) extends its project manipulation capabilities with support for writing task/resource group definitions to MPP and removing embedded VBA macros. Improved formatting consistency and exception handling enhance reliability for Linux-based project systems.

New Features

  • Remove VBA Code in MPP Files:
    Strip embedded macro code using MPPSaveOptions::ClearVba.

  • Support for Writing Task & Resource Groups:
    Define group criteria with font styles, intervals, and inheritance, then export them via MPPSaveOptions::WriteGroups.

Enhancements

  • Added ability to group assignments directly via GroupAssignments toggle.
  • Font and grouping consistency improved across Linux targets.

Fixes

  • Fixed improper reading of group interval settings.
  • Baseline summary tasks now preserve their TimephasedData.
  • Handled duplicate key exceptions when opening certain MPPs.
  • Font saving issue resolved for new group text styles.
