How to join a conversation via keyboard?

It’s pretty useful to use keyboard shortcut in Gmail. Keeping hands off the mouse.

I want to know:

  • where to find useful keyboard shortcuts?
  • how you use them to join, track and reply in a conversation?

If you click the hamburger menu in the upper-right, you can see a list of shortcuts:

To reply to this topic, I typed shift+r.

When I was done typing my response, I pressed ctrl+enter.
