The Imagick::charcoalImage() function is an inbuilt function in PHP which is used to simulate a charcoal drawing of an image. Syntax:
bool Imagick::charcoalImage( $radius, $sigma )
Parameters: This function accepts two parameters as mentioned above and described below:
  • $radius: This parameter stores the value of radius of the Gaussian, in pixels.
  • $sigma: This parameter stores the value of the standard deviation of the Gaussian, in pixels.
