Tensorflow.js tf.expm1() Function Last Updated : 18 May, 2021 Comments Improve Suggest changes Like Article Like Report Tensorflow.js is an open-source library that is being developed by Google for running machine learning models as well as deep learning neural networks in the browser or node environment. The .expm1() function is used to find the exponential value minus one i.e. (e^x-1) of the stated tensor input, and it is done element wise. Syntax : tf.expm1(x) Parameters: x: It is the tensor input whose exponential value minus one is to be computed, and it can be of type tf.Tensor, or TypedArray, or Array. Return Value: It returns the tf.Tensor object. Example 1: In this example, we are defining an input tensor of integer type and then printing the exponential value minus one of it. For creating an input tensor we are utilizing the .tensor1d() method and in order to print the output we are using the .print() method. JavaScript // Importing the tensorflow.js library //import * as tf from "@tensorflow/tfjs" // Defining tensor input elements const y = tf.tensor1d([5, 1, 8, 0]); // Calling expm1() method and // printing output y.expm1().print(); Output: Tensor [147.4131622, 1.7182819, 2979.9580078, 0] Example 2: In this example, float type values are considered as tensor input and the parameter is passed directly to the expm1 function. JavaScript // Importing the tensorflow.js library import * as tf from "@tensorflow/tfjs" // Defining float values var val = [8.6, 0.5, .24]; // Calling tensor1d method const y = tf.tensor1d(val); // Calling expm1() method var res = tf.expm1(y) // printing output res.print(); Output: Tensor [5430.6616211, 0.6487213, 0.2712491] Reference: https://js.tensorflow.org/api/latest/#expm1 Comment More infoAdvertise with us Next Article Tensorflow.js tf.expm1() Function nidhi1352singh Follow Improve Article Tags : JavaScript Web Technologies Tensorflow.js Similar Reads Tensorflow.js tf.exp() Function Tensorflow.js is an open-source library that is being developed by Google for running machine learning models as well as deep learning neural networks in the browser or node environment.
