Creating an EC2 instance using CloudFormation

Your base network stack is now available and you can now run the EC2 instance in the VPC that you created. In this example, let's assume that you want to install nginx web server on the EC2 as part of the bootstrapping process and spin up the EC2 in the first public subnet that you created as part of the above stack. You will want to input only instance type and AMI ID to the stack. Your template should reference the values for the Security Group and first public subnet exported from the base network stack.
