Creating a configuration template

For creating a template, you first need to get the solution stack that you can use to create the configuration template. Solution stacks are nothing but the platforms provided by AWS to spin up your AWS resources. You choose the solution stack/platform based on your application dependency. To get the list of solution stacks available, you can use the following command:

PS C:\> (Get-EBAvailableSolutionStackList).SolutionStackDetails

Note that the list is trimmed in this case. There are many more solution stacks that you can choose from. Pay particular attention to the PermittedFileTypes column. You may see values like zip, jar, war, and json. It means those are files that you can use to deploy your application on the specific platform/solution stack.
