This paper presents a genetic algorithm-based method for automatic classification of Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) and Phase Shift Keying (PSK) signals using template matching and signal constellation diagrams. It highlights the challenges of blind modulation recognition due to the lack of prior knowledge about transmitted signals and demonstrates high accuracy in classification despite noise interference. The proposed approach accurately identifies decision boundaries critical for bit detection, improving performance in various applications like spectrum management and military communications.
