The paper proposes a distributed spatial modulation based cooperative diversity scheme (dsm-cd) for relay wireless networks, aiming to achieve higher diversity gains and improve bit error rate (BER) performance by integrating space-time block coding (STBC) with distributed spatial modulation. The authors demonstrate through Monte Carlo simulations that the proposed scheme outperforms existing cooperative relaying techniques. This innovation allows for collaborative data forwarding between the source and relays, effectively reducing transmission errors and enhancing overall system performance.
