The paper presents a new routing scheme for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) that enhances multipoint relay selection using a concept called 'link fineness' based on spatial relations among nodes. This scheme integrates with the Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) protocol, improving stability and link quality by adapting relay selection to the mobility patterns of nodes. Simulated results demonstrate significant performance improvements for the proposed method, making it suitable for dynamic network environments such as MANETs, VANETs, and FANETs.
