Courses Flipped clasroom
• They are deployed as SPOC under the OpenEDX platform
• They replace, totally or partially, the classroom classes
• The course is divided into weeks/modules
• The student has the contents available one week before

How does it works
• Introduce systems of gamification and social pressure
• Make a custom app(IOS & Android).
• Do changes on G-EL and OpenEDX.
• Students can play in the app and in OpenEDX
• Content opens at both platforms simultaneously
• Students receive points for viewing the videos and doing the exercises.
• Students know at all times what percentage of the videos they have seen (in
App and OpenEDX)
• We encourage students to work continuously giving extra bonus when entering
the platform consecutive days
• The students know at all times their position in the ranking through the app
• We have developed a notification system via the application to encourage
student work. The main notifications are:
• Begin /End week /section.
• Pending tasks.
• Obtaining Points(app and Open edX)
• Notification if the student has outstanding tasks
• There is a color code that allows students to see their activity of the week.
How does it works
• How does the student get points?
• Watch videos
• Do exercises
• Complete all the tasks of the week
• What are the available bonuses?
• Access daily -> % extra points (consecutive days)
• Be the first to complete the tasks of the week
• Interaction between students
• Donation of points
• They can assign the amount of points they wish to another
student. Points can not be assigned to themselves
• Available points are recharged at the beginning of the
following week.
