JayCut is a web-based video editing platform that allows users to remix videos and images, add soundtracks, transitions, effects and texts from any browser. It won several awards for innovation and was chosen by Google, Ericsson and Telenor as one of the top 20 most promising startups. JayCut also has mobile apps in development to allow full video editing on smartphones and tablets. The platform uses a backend architecture with web services, databases and network storage to enable cross-platform compatibility and processing of video conversions and rendering.
