This document summarizes a study analyzing a hybrid energy system consisting of wind turbines, photovoltaic panels, with hybrid DC and AC buses. The study examines control strategies for maintaining stable bus voltages in both grid-connected and isolated microgrid operations. It also models the components of a sample hybrid system including photovoltaic arrays, boost converters, and inverters. Simulation results using MATLAB/Simulink show the voltages of the AC and DC buses can be maintained steadily.
