This document describes a clap switch circuit project using an Arduino board. The project aims to use a microphone to detect clapping sounds and provide an electrical signal to control appliances like lights. It lists the components needed including an LED, NE555 timer IC, transistor, resistor, and microphone. Diagrams of the circuit design and Arduino code are provided. Upon testing the assembled circuit, it was found to work properly to turn on lights or other devices based on clapping.
