The document proposes an image encryption scheme using elliptical curve cryptography (ECC) with optimization via the gravitational search algorithm (GSA). ECC is used to encrypt image blocks, with the private key generation step optimized by GSA. The encrypted image quality, measured by peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), is used as the fitness value in GSA optimization. Compared to standard ECC, the proposed method finds more optimal PSNR values during private key generation. Encrypted images are decrypted and compared to the original to evaluate accuracy using metrics like PSNR, correlation coefficient, and mean squared error.
