The document presents a study on the implementation of an exponential blind equal throughput (exp-bet) scheduling algorithm for resource allocation in LTE systems, specifically suitable for both real-time and non-real-time traffic. The simulation and hardware co-simulation using FPGA demonstrated that the exp-bet algorithm effectively allocates resources while maintaining fairness and improved performance compared to existing methods. The research involved using Xilinx System Generator and MATLAB Simulink to verify the implementation, confirming the algorithm's readiness for prototyping on the Virtex-6 FPGA platform.
