How to use IFTTT to connect social networks

- 30. âŚand youâll see all the recipes youâve created.
- 32. Click Browse
- 33. âŚthen go and search for published recipes from collections.
- 35. Click Channels
- 38. As a sample, we will create a recipe.
- 40. Click Create a Recipe.
- 41. Now click this.
- 42. Choose a Trigger Channel.
- 44. âŚor scroll down to search.
- 45. For this, weâll use Facebook as trigger channel.
- 46. Click the icon.
- 47. Every time you try to connect IFTTTâŚ
- 48. âŚto other networks, youâll be asked to
- 49. âŚlog-in to your network accounts to authorize IFTTT
- 50. âŚto use your account.
- 51. After logging-in, click Okay
- 52. Now choose to whom you want to share
- 53. âŚyour IFTTT posts to.
- 54. Then click Okay.
- 55. Click Done.
- 56. Now choose a Trigger.
- 59. Click that.
- 61. Again, click the icon.
- 64. Click Done.
- 65. Both networks are now connected!
- 68. âŚthat IFTTT is going to post toTwitter
- 69. âŚwhenever you have a new status update.
- 74. The recipe weâve created is now added to My Recipe.
- 76. Click on the imageâŚ
- 77. âŚor the pencil icon
- 78. âŚto edit or delete the recipe.
- 79. Here you can see the Recipe ID
- 82. Turn off the recipe
- 83. âŚwhen you want to stop from using it.
- 85. âŚto publicize it and be used by others.

- 88. Log to check log items.
- 89. Delete to remove the recipe
- 90. Scroll down to see the message box
- 91. âŚwhere you have typed the Tweet text.
- 92. Click Update,
- 93. âŚif you wanted to change your tweet text.
- 94. Letâs now try to post a status to Facebook.
- 95. Click Post.
- 97. Then letâs check my Twitter account.
- 99. Immediately after Iâve posted to Facebook, a Tweet text was sent to myTwitter account.
- 100. Now go and save your time and effort! Make your own Recipes!
