This paper discusses improvements to the iterative filtering (IF) algorithm for data aggregation in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), emphasizing the need for robust security against node compromising attacks. The study surveys various existing literature on data aggregation techniques, highlighting their vulnerabilities and proposing a new enhanced iterative filtering method to improve trustworthiness in sensor nodes. The paper aims to address critical issues in resource conservation and data integrity within WSNs through an effective aggregation strategy.
