- This student would benefit from an augmentative system to support her verbal speech which is not easily understood.

Statistics show that around 18.8% of students receiving special education have speech or language services, and communication disorders are among the most common disabilities in the United States. Early identification and treatment of communication disorders can greatly improve a child's future success.
