This document presents a study on an optimized load balancing mechanism in parallel computing specifically for workflow scheduling in cloud computing environments. The proposed method, termed Optimal Load Balancing in Parallel Computing (OLBP), is designed to enhance resource allocation efficiency by distributing load based on server speed and optimizing for makespan and energy consumption. Evaluated using the Cyber Shake workflow dataset, the OLBP mechanism demonstrates improved performance over existing scheduling approaches.
