This paper presents a novel comparative summarization technique that generates summaries of web pages based on user-selected URLs and specified feature keywords, leveraging the HTML DOM tree structure for concept-based segmentation. The approach aims to reduce the user’s effort in browsing multiple websites by creating concise comparative summaries that facilitate quick decision-making regarding various topics such as engineering colleges or banking services. By extracting important sentences from concept blocks of the selected web pages, the system enhances information retrieval efficiency and assists users in making informed choices.
