positive or negative personality. Do you agree to this and if so why?
(b) Write short notes on:
i. Importance of personal appearance in communication
ii. Posture as a non-verbal tool of communication. [16]
2. What is meant by the word “jargon”? Dispense with the jargon to make the
following sentences more effective:
(a) The shareholders without any procrastination should sell the junk bond.
(b) Organizations evaluate various aspects of their processes through benchmark-
ing. It helps crack through resistance to change by demonstrating other meth-
ods of solving problems than the one currently employed, and demonstrating
that they work, because they are being used by others. [16]
3. (a) Provide at least 10 tips for better participation in meetings.
(b) ‘If they’re conducted properly, meetings can and will make you (and your
organization) function more efficiently.’ How is this possible? [16]
4. (a) An interview consists of a stage of information gathering. How is this done
