The document proposes a new method for multiple attribute decision making problems with spherical fuzzy information. It introduces the concept of spherical fuzzy sets which can better capture uncertain and inconsistent information. It then defines spherical fuzzy cross-entropy as an extension of cross-entropy between fuzzy sets. Spherical fuzzy cross-entropy measures the discrimination between two spherical fuzzy sets based on the membership, non-membership, and hesitancy degrees. Finally, it presents a multiple attribute decision making model that uses spherical fuzzy weighted cross-entropy to rank alternatives based on their distance from an ideal alternative. An example on enterprise resource planning system selection is provided to demonstrate the approach.
