The document presents a novel framework called Threshold Filtered Video Object Detection and Tracking (TFVODT) aimed at enhancing the accuracy of moving object detection and tracking in video surveillance. The framework uses median filter-based enhanced Laplacian thresholding for video segmentation and a color histogram-based particle filter for tracking, resulting in an 18% improvement in detection accuracy compared to existing techniques. Experimental evaluations demonstrate the effectiveness of TFVODT in improving video object detection metrics such as object tracking accuracy and reducing noise.
